What about Howard University in Washington DC? A highly respected hbcu and they have a medical school. Since your ACT is 30, if you can get your gpa to a 3.25 you will get the Capstone Scholarship. It’s tuition, fees and room. Just make sure to apply early because the scholarships are first come, first serve.
URoc’s page on cc has a couple of threads about this year’s acceptances/waitlists/rejections. There seems to be a good bit of variety if you want to check it out.

Definitely apply to other more certain places too. Everyone needs safeties they can count on, but if you like URoc, it’s worth a shot to see what happens.
@intparent Yeah my school is currently on spring break so there’s no way to find out at the moment. Give me till next monday I think that’s April 4.
@Creekland Yeah I haven’t fallen in love with the school or anything but it just falls in the type of school I’m hoping to be able to attend from average GPA and test scores. But I get what you’re saying and thanks for the advice!
