Please post here if you are currently attending the university of chicago and you'd be willing to look over my essay for me.
I've been working on it for a couple of weeks and I just finished it tonight. :) I plan on applying EA.
Thank you!

Yeah I knew the guy who crafted that prompt-I think I ca help.

I would not trust this post. ^

As I am the prompt writer’s father, I doubt very much DMKerlin’s claim. Anyway, the prompt is exactly what it says–no hidden meanings–do with it what you will. Have fun, that is what my son wanted people to do with it–and I think UChi admissions people do too, which is why they selected his submission as a prompt for this year.

etondad, that’s a brilliant prompt. This year’s are way better than what they had last year. Many kudos to your son.

Just dropping by to say that I’m happy to see that people love this year’s prompts!

Yeah, they’re quite wonderful.
I had a lot of fun with the find x one, but it was hard to choose just one prompt! I wanted to write about the “two types of people” as well, haha.

Still looking for a uChi student to read my essay, please
I’m planning on turning in my application soon, so any critiques would be greatly appreciated!

Geez, over 700 views and not a single offer? xD
I’m turning in my app at the end of next week. Any critiques before then would be wonderful :)

I’m applying EA too and turned in my supplement just yesterday.

I don’t mind reading your UChicago supplement essays and you doing the same to mine in return. I’m sure you’ve turned in the supplement by now, but thought I’d still ask.

@gustavklimt
I also submitted mine yesterday. I don’t mind reading others.

I am a current Sophomore at U of C if you care, but I would not mind reading it, this years prompts seem so much fun ours sucked

^ That is a blatant lie. Your other posts are about you applying Early Decision to Emory. You are a junior in high school.

Please, people, do not send your essays over this forum. They will get stolen.
