<p>Sorry, I should have mentioned the course is a community college course. Does that make any difference?</p>
<p>Maybe I will be more specific. I want to skip out of Econ 1A and Econ 1B. To do this I need a petition for some sort of "fast track" program (they say AP credit alone isn't necessarily sufficient). It says that if I participate in the fast track program I will need to replace 1A and 1B with upper level courses. </p>
<p>While that might not be a problem, I would like the option of opting out of the courses completely without having to take additional courses. Therefore, it would help to get straight credit for Econ 1A (using my college Micro course) and Econ 1B (using the Macro) that would count toward my major. However, I don't want to already have a "B" on my Stanford transcript before I even get there.</p>
