Hi everyone!
I’m a transfer student looking to become a field researcher or ecological consultant.
Ideally I’d like a big school with a “small school” feel. I networked with professors in community college, which got me into research. I’d like to be able to do the same in a 4-year.
I would ideally want to stay on the east coast, since a) I live in Jersey, and b) the water would be beneficial for possible marine studies. I’d look into a western school if they had good study abroad. And, of course, merit aid is a big deal to me.
I have applied to:
Rutgers
Coastal Carolina University- Got accepted, but l’m not 100% on the place
University of North Carolina
I am considering applying to:
Michigan Technological University
University of Maryland- College Park
Univeristy of Colorado Boulder
Univeristy of Rhode Island
Thank you all!
