Looking for a Grad School

I am a senior biology major at a state school set to graduate this year. I would like to further my education in the field of microbiology. I need suggestions of possible p.h.D. programs in microbiology or something along those lines. I have a 3.8 gpa and would really prefer to go somewhere warm. I haven't taken the GRE yet, but I will soon. Also, I have spoken to several professors at my current school, but I wanted to hear some other opinions. Any thoughts?

Getting suggestions on this forum is probably not a good idea. Your professors are the best resource. You can also start doing your own research at [PhDs.org: Jobs for PhDs, graduate school rankings, and career resources](http://phds.org) which has a lot of data from the 2007 National Research Council survey. A bit old but a reasonable place to start.

Thanks for the input!
