I'm looking for schools that offer a similar setup as Cornell College (Mount Venon, IA). Cornell offers 1-class at a time in 3-4 week clusters all year round; that way you burn through one class and then move onto the next instead of dividing you attention between multiple classes.

As far as I know, Colorado College is the only other school with the block system. I could be wrong, though.

Colorado College is the only other one that I know of. A friend of mine attends Cornell College and loves the block system.

Oh really?

Much obliged.

Heh, interesting way of doing classes. I'm not sure whether I'd like that or not, though.

One of my teachers went to Cornell College and said he absolutely loved the block system. It allowed him to focus on one class at a time.

Unfortunately, I don't know any other schools that do the block system, so I can't help you out there. I have to say Cornell College sounds really cool!

I liked the block idea, but I didn't like how there are many short breaks throughout the year, I prefer fewer long ones.

I love to burn things...and I love short little breaks as opposed to long ones. I've had a conflicting chronic medical disease my whole life and much of my academic background has been structured in a similar fashion.
