Looking for a small-medium sized school in an urban setting

Hey guys. I'm looking for a school that has between 2000-8,000 people, and is located in an urban setting. I have decent stats, and east coast is preferred. any ideas?

Lots of options … you need to provide more info (qualifications, interests, budget, etc.)

Possibilities include Johns Hopkins and Loyola University MD (Baltimore), the Philadelphia-area Quaker schools (Haverford, Bryn Mawr, Swarthmore), Barnard and Columbia (NYC), Yale (New Haven), Brown (Providence), Boston College and Harvard. Outside the east: the University of Chicago, Macalester (Twin Cities), Washington U. St. Louis, Occidental (LA). Most of these are very selective.

College of Saint Rose, Albany, NY

Wake Forest (NC)
University of Richmond (VA)

Tufts, Holy Cross, Trinity.

How about Wesleyan (CT) ?

Some odd ideas about what’s considered urban.

American University in DC

George Washington University in DC-but it’s a little bigger than your upper limit, around 11,000 undergrads

I failed to mention this in the original post, but I’m a transfer. When I said decent, I meant alright; My hs gpa was a 3.7 and sat was 1940, although I would be willing to retake. Currently I attend a small lac and have a 4.0, with great teacher recs. Perhaps that will give you some more information on where I could get into.

Right now I think I’m applying to Vanderbilt. And yes I know its a reach.

Case Western in Cleveland but it’s a little bit of a reach.
