looking for a transfer college

anyone know a list of colleges u can transfer into where you need 15 hours of transferable credit or less to be eligible?

None substantially better than your community college

Even third-rate publics require 30 credits.

Not sure what your situation is. At a number of schools, if you have that few credits - and you achieved them part time - you can apply as a freshman. Were you enrolled full time? Some schools, I believe, will accept transfers as second term freshmen… so that might be an option for you. What type of school are you targeting?

well see i got waitlisted at rice and rejected by both JHU and stanford so I ended up at the university of texas at dallas, a commuter school with not many activities. so I want to transfer as soon as possible (and hopefully get into a biomed engineering program). I’m enrolled in 16 hours this fall semester and was wondering if there was a way I could transfer into antoher college in the spring of 2009.

I looked on Rice’s transfer page and they said only 9 hours was necessary to transfer but rice is tough to get into and I was wondering if there were any other colleges that need a similar amount of hours as a requirement for transfer entry.

You will be judged largely on your high school record.
1 semester is not an adequate measure of a student’s ability, especially since Rice/etc. will only have access to your midterm grades if that.
However, perhaps Rice will offer admission to their waitlisted students spring admission. Contact an admissions counselor.

I think Howard University only requires 15 transferable hours.
