Looking for advice...

I took the SAT for the first and last time in November. I only took it for NMS, but I ended up doing better than I thought I would.
Here's my breakdown:

SAT: 2270
R: 690
M: 780
W: 800

No one from my (midwest) school takes the SAT, so I'm wondering if someone can give me some insight into how this score will be looked at by colleges. I definitely wasn't planning on sending my score, but I'm wondering if it's good enough that it might help me? Or will my reading score just hurt me and I should just not send it? Also, if I'm taking the Literature Subject Test and do well, will that maybe balance out my bad reading score?

For what it's worth I'm sending two ACTs:

C:33 E:35 M:30 R:33 S:35 W:10
and
C:35 E:36 M:34 R:35 S:33 W:8

And I'm applying to:
Notre Dame
Villanova
Georgetown
Princeton
Yale
Columbia
Duke
Penn
Wash&Lee

THANKS SO MUCH IF YOU HAVE ANY INSIGHT/ADVICE!!!!
I'm really quite clueless...

They will consider an SAT score of 2270 a lot better than your ACT score of 33 but a little lower than your ACT score of 35. I wouldn’t send it, since you are applying to some very selective schools and a 690 will not be as competitive with many kids in those school’s applicant pools.

Those are still very great SAT scores.

Georgetown requires that a student send ALL of their SAT scores. I don’t know how that applies for SATs vs. ACTs. Also, Georgetown and some other colleges don’t look at writing SAT I scores.

Wow, nice job =)

Honestly, your 35 ACT is fantastic enough to send on its own. But if you really want to keep your options open I’d say send that ACT score and your SAT which is equally stupendous.
