<p>I'm surprised that no one's mentioned American University's School of International Service, in Washington, DC. My little sister's attending, and she's currently taking Spanish and Chinese at the same time. The school also offers Arabic, plus a plethora of other languages.</p>
<p>A lot of the classes are taught by retired diplomats, so at least they have practical experience. :) SIS is also pretty flexible in terms of curriculum, so it seems like you really have a choice of what to study.</p>
<p>I don't really know that much about the school, but I know my sister is interested in the same thing as you, so check it out. AU offers big scholarships, too - I think they top out $23k per year, which is nothing to sneeze at.</p>
