I am currently a senior in highschool. I already know what profession I want to enter into, but I'm having trouble finding a college that has the right courses that I need to get to my, I hope to be dream profession. I was wondering, if anyone here knew some colleges that specialize in the Marine Biology field? I'm mostly looking for colleges in the Florida area though. Any college names would be extremely helpful! Thanks!

I heard Texas A&M had a good Marine Biology program at Corpus Christi

Hmm. Thank you for the help. I'll make sure to look into it.

In Florida, look at U of Miami (undergraduate degree in Marine Sciences/Bio)
Florida Atlantic U (degree in Bio. with emphasis in Marine Biology)
New College - if you don't know it, this is a very well-regarded but unusual public college right on the Gulf Coast of Florida. They offer a biology degree, and you may elect to specialize in marine biology with faculty mentoring

Just to clarify, the primary Marine Biology program in the Texas A&M University System is actually located at the campus in Galveston (not Corpus Christi), and is widely considered to be one of the best in the country.

I've heard great things about Miami too.

I'll be sure to look at those colleges. Thank you!
