Looking for CS Program

<p>Hello All,</p>

<p>I want to major in computer science, but I can't really tell the strengths and weakness of those well-known CS departments in Stanford, MIT, Carnegie Mellon, etc.</p>

<p>Can anybody tell me the differences between them? Particularly, I like developing software and I really want a programming intensive program. Which CS program is the best in terms of this?</p>
