I think someone told me that 66% of legacies get admitted who apply ED.
Guttentag said that legacies get an extra reading of their application.</p>

<p>^daughter is correct. At least, in year’s past the acceptance rate for ED legacy was about 66%. Last year, the overall admit rate for *children *of alumni was 36%. About double the overall admit rate of just under 18%. So, it certainly helps, but still slightly more than 6 in 10 don’t get in.</p>
