Looking for good engineering/math schools

Hi, I'm a junior in a public school in Pennsylvania. Since all my testing and stuff is pretty much finalized for the year(although there's a slim chance that I might take the SAT again in October), I was wondering what specific universities I should consider with my stats? I'm interested mainly in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Math. I already have some in mind, but I'd like to have a pretty set list going into the application phase after summer.

Here:

UW GPA: 3.5ish (school doesn't weight starting with my class)
My grades are a bit lopsided because of some turmoil I had last year. Freshman+Junior=all As and 3 Bs, sophomore=some As, some Bcs, 2 Cs, and a D
PSAT: 210 (M 65 W 77 CR 68)
SAT: 2040 (M 650 W 710 CR 680)
SAT II:
US History-710
Math 2-690
AP Exams:
English Lang (didn't take class), Calc AB, Biology, US History
Senior schedule: AP Physics B, AP Calc BC, AP Economics (macro and micro), AP English Lit., wilderness survival, racquet sports, and 4 semester long electives
Extracurriculars: Football 9-11th grade
(I might enter Writer's Digest's short story contest, although I most likely won't win an award for it)
Awards:
most likely national merit commended
most likely ap scholar of some sorts

Here are the schools I'm already considering for reference:

UT-Austin
Penn State-College Park
UCLA
Carnegie Mellon
Cornell

the best schools for Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering:

California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo
United States Naval Academy (if you want to be in the navy)
Georgia Institute Of Technology
University Of Michigan - Ann Arbor (somewhat of a reach)
Purdue University - West Lafayette
University Of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign
University Of Texas - Austin

I would take Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, UCLA, and Penn State off your list and replace them with the schools I mentioned above.

Thanks for the response, man. I’ll look into Illinois and Georgia Tech in particular. I’m definitely applying to Penn State though because it’s instate.

oh ok, I forgot yeah definitely apply to Penn State then

don’t underestimate Purdue and Cal Poly, Purdue is an excellent safety school for you (I had a 3.0 and got in for engineering but all engineering majors at Purdue are top 10 and very challenging), and Cal Poly has an amazing Aerospace engineering major

Yeah sorry I didn’t mean to discount those schools. Wow Cal Poly looks really good.

NYU-Poly

Good job hunting

…

I am not the biggest fan of NYU-Poly. The school does not have the reputation yet as that of many engineering schools.

At Michigan State University you could maybe get half of your tuition in scholarships.
