Looking for good ES programs based on my stats.

I'm looking for universities with realistic standards that have decent environmental science programs based on my stats.

Applying for Financial Aid.

SAT: I plan to take it again (obviously); hoping to improve by 40 in all 3.
CR- 590
Math- 670
Writing- 610
Total- 1870

AP: Computer Graphics (Junior), Chemistry (J) , Environmental Science (Senior), Literature (S)

EC: Rugby (for 2 years), Watershed Integrated Study Program (part of the Research Practicum at my school) , Environmental Club (Senior Year)

Average Unweighted GPA: 3.6

Schools I'm looking to apply to: UMCP, UMBC, University of Vermont, SUNY-ESF

University of Oregon in Eugene would be a good possibility. The environmental sciences program has a good reputation, the entire population of Eugene is exceptionally ‘green aware,’ and its a nice college town with decent weather.

Forgot to mention that Bowdoin has the best environmental sciences program among the LACs that we looks at.

Be forewarned that you need a solid science background to have a successful career in this field. It’s not enough to do a lot of ‘soft’ policy-related, applied classwork.
