Looking for good Mathematics programs in SC.

<p>I'm currently in my senior year in high school, and I've been thinking about going to a university in South Carolina. The major that I am probably going to pursue is mathematics, yet I still don't know what I might minor in. My concern is, I find it difficult to directly limit searches on the internet for top colleges for a certain subject in a certain area. So:</p>

<p>In, or around, the state of South Carolina: what are the universities that have the best mathematics program?</p>

<p>Thank you to anyone who might be of some help.</p>

<p>Side note: it would help if the school was close to Conway.</p>

<p>UNC, NCSU, UVa, VT, GT, Duke?</p>

<p>In-state, probably USC and Clemson.</p>

<p>Closer to Conway, College of Charleston and USC are going to be your best options. If you don’t mind heading up to the upstate, Wofford and Furman are great universities as well. (Please don’t waste your time and go to Coastal Carolina…)</p>
