Bump...........

Johns Hopkins and UC San Diego are both outstanding...

do you think i have a chance at either with these stats?

Wesleyan is also outstanding in Neuroscience, and the sciences in general. You'd be surprised! As for your chances, I feel that Wesleyan and Johns Hopkins are both reaches for you, whereas UC-San Diego might be a target. But then again, Wesleyan and Johns Hopkins are both reaches for any top student.

thx for the info

i read through the above post, does anyone have an update on the post about Austin?

Oberlin's another school to consider. I think they have one of the oldest neuroscience departments.

Bump 10char

Emory?

Maybe Baylor as a safety?

i was thinking Rutgers as safety, i live in NJ

suny-albany (the college says it's number or something_)

brandeis and brown

Brown as a reach

emory doesnt have neuroscience, i am an aspiring neuro major myself

id say JHU

id love to go to JHU, just not sure if i can get in with my lack of ECs, also, has anyone seen a site that says the salary of different neurology occupations?

bump 10char

UCSD OOS would likely be similar in admissions difficulty to Johns Hopkins. Top UC's OOS are very competitive. I was also going to recomend UCSD and Johns Hopkins. I believe their graduate programs are ranked 1 and 2 respectively. UC Berkeley and Stanford would also be strong choices. However, UC Berkeley OOS and Stanford are very difficult to gain admissions to. The posters SAT score of around 1800 is simply way too low for UCSD OOS or John Hopkins or UC Berkeley OOS or Stanford.

yea thats what im taking the Course for, i really hope it helps.

get that SAT up above 2000 and with a unweighted gpa of 3.9+ and UC GPA of well above 4.0 you should have a solid shot at UCSD OOS and UC Berkeley OOS and should also should have a solid shot at JHU. Stanford is a reach for anyone, even people with near perfect SAT's and 4.0+ GPA's.

last SAT practice i got 1880, and i think my GPA is already up there, thank you very much for the quick replies lol.
