<p>Is there any reason you are not looking at a liberal arts college? Given your broad range of interests and desire to keep your options open, it would appear that an LAC would be more appropriate.</p>
<p>I was heavily leaning towards economics and business, but the AP Economics class I'm taking right now isn't what I thought it would be. It may just be the teacher, it may not be, so I want to keep my options open. I've been told, and I have read that after the top liberal arts schools, there is a huge dropoff in career services and job placement, which is crucial for business.</p>

<p>Don't listen to your teacher. Top 25 LACs are respected and will land you good jobs. The main difference between attending a LAC and a major university is on-campus recruitment. Obviously, a huge university with a major Business school will have more on-campus recruitment activity, but that does not mean LAC students won't find good jobs when they graduate. </p>
