Looking for help

Hi so I'm new to this forum but I see people are really helpful so I was hoping to get some advice. Right now I am an undergrad I have been majoring in sociology and about to start upper division classes but I have taken a few business classes lately and they have really interested me. Now if I switch my major to business I'll be in school an extra year or two because of math requirements and some extra classes needed is it worth it to stay longer to major in business if I plan on going for an MBA later? Would top schools rather take a business degree or sociology degree ? What if I minor in business?
Also right now I am working at a bank I don't know of that would help out for an MBA seen as good even if I major in sociology.
I appreciate the help because I am not sure what to do

The higher the ranking of your school, the less important your major.

Do you mean the ranking of the school I get my ba in ?
