looking for “hippy” collages with agriculture focus

uc santa cruz has plenty of hippies, but cal poly slo has a very awesome agricultural dept[not sure about the hippies though] people are laid back there though

i’ll second UC davis

You want Humboldt State, assuming this thread isn’t a joke.

<a href=“Humboldt County, California - Wikipedia”>Humboldt County, California - Wikipedia;

Oh no not a joke, however my interests are not “only” based on an interest in growing pot, admittedly prop 215 is certainly a consideration but I am genuinely interested in legit. agriculture.
If swim wanted to be a pot farmer California would not be his first choice as the market is FLOODED.
Thank you all for the replies all these recommendations will keep me occupied for quite a while, however If anyone thinks of any others do let me know. I figure the more options the better!

“PS: Anitoch College no longer exists, sorry”

All over the country, bearded men in clouds of pungent smoke are saying “Wha? What year IS it?? Seems like I just graduated yesterday.”

Schmaltz - it may not be to you taste (or mine) but Anitoch College had many dedicated professors and students over the years. I would not let the fact that it was an uncoventional learning environment distort your perception of the quality of the education students received. Perhaps if they were gifted some of the favored status that lesser schools received over the last adminastration then they would still be around…

Did you just use “gifted” as a verb, dude?

UC Davis totally

second, Hampshire. You can smell the compost heap from the moment you enter campus.

University of Minnesota CFANS

Warren Wilson College. I’m applying next year, not sure if I will end up attending, but I loved it.

“These are not party schools for stupid stoners, but places where intelligent users of cannabis can receive a quality education”

[High Times > TOP TEN COUNTERCULTURE COLLEGES](http://hightimes.com/news/comso/388)

I was at ISU and Cornell ALS in the '80s, and at that time, Cornell was significantly higher on the “hippie aggie” scale. What you want to look for is programs in Sustainable Agriculture. Also, see if there is a student-run Organic Farming project. Cornell used to have one.

ncmentor,

You’ve mentioned “Anitoch College” several times in this thread and it never existed, though Antioch College was real.
