<p>I run the intern program at my company and each year we give our interns a welcome gift. In the past, we've done shirts, notebooks with pens, messenger bags, etc. WE're looking for some fresh ideas. Does anyone have any fun suggestions???</p>

<p>I interned for a senator last summer who really likes to paint, and at the end of the summer we were all given coffee mugs with her signature and a print of a painting of her’s on it</p>
<p>pitch book themed notepads</p>
<p>Fleece blanket with company’s logo.
Stocking cap with company’s logo.</p>
<p>Jumpdrive with the company’s logo</p>
<p>Kinda depends on what your company and internship program is like.</p>
<p>I’ve never been in a situation, job, where networking is of great importance. However, when I see how DS has developed his networking as an intern, he has magnified his influence and presence. </p>
<p>Doesn’t really matter what you give to them. What will matter is what they will do with the gift. </p>
<p>How about a length of string with a logo’d luggage tag. Tell them at time of welcoming, you’d like to see what they can do with it. Keep the presentation light. At the end of the internship, ask them in a more serious attitude, that you’d like to know what they did or would like to do with that gift. Give them a second gift, a longer piece of string and a net of strings with your logo in the center. </p>
<p>Some will understand the importance. Some won’t until told or with time. A good introduction to a career.</p>
<p>Messenger bags would be amazing but I imagine those would be extremely amazing. </p>
<p>Customized company pens/USB drives, or maybe something practical like a business card holder that looks very sophisticated (pulling one of these out always looks impressive even if it’s super stupid haha). </p>
<p>Hell if I were to get something from my intern coordinator this summer I’d probably just want a Starbucks giftcard.</p>
<p>Yeah I agree the messenger bags would be pretty awesome.</p>
<p>A polo shirt with the company logo would be pretty cool also or a fleece.</p>
