My son just got into Colorado State for civil/environmental engineering.
Trying to figure out whether he will be a good fit here.
He is very environmentally focused- interested in sustainability, renewable energy, etc. Hands-on. From out of state- NJ. Very liberal.
Liked to cycle, garden, eat healthy, active with clubs- environmental, habit, human rights...
Very math/science oriented - struggles with English/writing.
Any insight would be helpful.

Hey I’m going up to CSU for mechanical engineering but I know several friends in civil and environmental engineering. The envE program is first rate but civil may be better depending on what he wants to do in the industry. I seriously reccomend CSU for engineering because although it may not be as prestigious as CU it is becoming the new focus of the university and I would not be shocked if it soon surpasses Colorado. Take a look around the website you’ll learn tons.
