Well I live in Texas. So, it will be out-of-state tuition for all of them.

@rjkofnovi: I don't think you know how much I try for research. You shouldn't act like this to people who just spent only one year in the United States, unless it's a huge mistake to get confused because of the names 'Indianapolis' and 'Indiana'. Thanks... -

By the way, I checked my app status for University of Texas, and they suggested a 'CAP' system for me: "We would like you to consider participation in the Coordinated Admission Program (CAP). CAP gives you the opportunity to spend your freshman year at a UT System university and transfer to UT Austin if you meet certain requirements during that year. " Well, because of its reputation and cost, I would put UT ahead of others. Also, I don't think that the requirements to transfer to UT which is 3.2 GPA, and 30 credit hours should be that tough to establish. But, I don't want to wonder around the U.S. during my college career, and it's never guaranteed that you will get into UT. I'm so confused about this. Is it diffucult to have a 3.2 GPA in UT San Antonio?

Also, this morning, I got an answer from Virginia Tech too. They're also doing the same thing with UT, by putting me into the 'University Studies'. But, again, it's a big risk to take if you can't enroll into a good major afterwards. And, I don't think you are allowed to transfer to Engineering courses from the 'University Studies'.

I'm coming from Turkey and United Kingdom, and this is my first in the U.S. Unfortunately, it was such a bad move for me to come over here in my senior year. Despite my education background, I had a bad profile in these college applications due to my poor GPA, HS rank, and extracurricaral activities. I have been speaking English for only 2 years, so my SAT-ACT English scores were pretty low compared to my friends.

SATs: MATH=770, Critical Reading=470, Writing=510
ACTs: MATH=34, Science=30, English=21, Composite=27
GPA: At the beginning of the year, it was 2.4; mid-term GPA was around 2.9, and probably it will be around 3.4 at the end of the year. This is such a good proof to my situation.

I want to study engineering, and I heard that Purdue is preety good. Also, as we can see from my acceptance to Purdue, it's not tough to get into Purdue which is actually good in my case. The problem is I don't qualify for any type of scholarships with this GPA and class rank. I tried the FAFSA, but we don't have any tax documentary as it's our first year in the U.S. Purdue's out-of-state tuition is around $24,000. My family is okay with paying the fees; we are not 'in need'. But, I don't want them to pay too much. So, cost is really important for me. If I could find any type of scholarships for myself, Purdue would be great. But, now, due to the high cost, I might wait an answer from Texas A&M, or go to LSU.

I'm kinda stuck. :(
