And if anyone's got any suggestions, I'd love those as well! Thanks in advance!

OH! I think I'll be getting some really nice rec. letters from several teachers/guidance counselor
I'll try to add anything else I forget....

I got some suggestions such as JHU, Georgetown, and GWU but I still feel those are reach schools. I'd like some ideas for matches! Thanks so much!

What is your home state? How much can your family afford?

MD and not much, really
My mom makes around 35k a year maybe and my dad would be able to pitch in a couple grand but that’s about it…

If you’re in California then the ucs have some match options for you

What are your selection criteria? There are hundreds of match schools out there. What do you want in a school? Size? Distance from home? Part of the country? Major? etc…

The UCs would be VERY expensive for someone from MD (try to keep up noodle).

OP, your stats are a good match for UMBC (pretty much a safety). Look at their Net Price Calculator to see what the FA forecast is.

What do you want to do? What sort of colleges do you like? Pending answers, you could be considering anything from UMBC to York College of PA, etc.

Well I’m not entirely sure what I want to major in. Ideally, I’d like a small/medium sized campus, preferably not rural, I’d like to stay on the east coast and that’s about as much as I’ve got it down to…

ehhh Northeastern, Villanova and comparable schools

You could try some of the LACs that are good with need-based aid. Franklin & Marshall comes to mind. I wouldn’t call it a safety, but it’s worth a try.

Goucher, Loyola of Md., & Salisbury St. come to mind.

Hood College has an honors program. You’re stats are at the top range for this school, but this could result in some merit aid in addition to need based aid.

are you a national hispanic scholar?

I’m not a national hispanic scholar, I’m not really sure what that is… But, thanks to all! I’ll look into their scholarships (if they have the criteria up to see) and hopefully I’ll find a solid safety with a nice amount of aid :)
