OP - Considering the fact that both your son and the other kid still have their whole senior year ahead of them, aren’t you getting a little ahead of yourself here? Maybe the current V will screw up a class and this won’t even be an issue. Or maybe the current V and your son both mess up a class and the current #3 ends up the V. In any event, if both your son and the V continue getting strait A’s, one possible solution would be to have your son take a study hall his senior year. If the V takes a class in place of study hall, wouldn’t that even things up?
The BigChef: we briefly discussed that option but he’s excited about his elective and wouldn’t want to change it for a study hall type class. an you are right, anything can happen. my son has never received anything less than an A ever, but I suppose it could happen. the other boy has received a B or 2 but the study hall makes up for it unfortunately
