I havn’t heard of anyone with a GPA like that getting into UCLA for sure. I’m not sure about the other two. I think you might have a decent shot depending on your pre req position for each school. And yes, UCSC, Merced AND Riverside are all considered easy to get in to.

I don’t think UCLA has TAG, I believe they have TAP, Transfer Alliance Program. I don’t know about Berkeley. Also, my friend was accepted to UCLA and UCSB, but not Berkeley with a 3.1x for geography. IGETC completed, all prereqs, no work experience, no TAP, no ec’s and **** essays.

brad, your GPA is lower than mine and you got into MERCED, congrats. My concerns is what in the hell is wrong with this school in not accpeting me yet? I got into UCSD, AND UCSB already. This is driving me nuts and very upset as days pass along because I got accepted to say what??? the other schools a long time ago that i can’t even remember. Merced is sleeping and it makes me disappointed

for the longest time, i thought u were joking about really wanting to go to merced. if that is still the case, give it a break - it isnt funny anymore. if it isnt the case, then… why?

but they haven’t accepted me yet. I find that really nervewracking you know. I got accepted to the other schools before march 15, which makes me wonder what is wrong with merced? I expected them to be the first one to accept me but it’s taking longer than usual. I am also waiting for ucla, but I know they haven’t made their decisions, and of course occidental. sure hope merced can get serious and either accept or reject me soon.

Thanks for the input everyone, yea I didn’t expect to get into UCLA, if somehow I did…then great, but I rather go to UCSD anyways. I did apply to UCSD with TAG, I have taken every class I can towards my major, and I will be IGETC certified after this semester. So I think I’m good on every avenue besides GPA. Hopefully I get in, I really love San Diego.

@feihtkrad when did you hear from UCSD? Thats good news, that’s what my GPA will likely be after this semester.

@chesserforlife I’m sure you will get in! But hey if you don’t get into Merced, I will trade my admittance for UCSD or UCSB any day :)

Also I forgot to mention that I started a business three years ago, and I’m hoping this influences my admission chances. Does anyone know what kind of pull work experience has? I have a fairly unique work history.
