I think I should introduce myself first and it would be awefully thankful if you guys recommend colleges perfectly suitable for me!

I'm an Asian, which means that I'm an international studnet.
I definitely need a financial aid.
I'm quite academic person.
I really like small classes because I have to improve my English.
I want active schools.
I really really like rock and roll, especially bands like Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Hendrix, and so on.
I want to major in philosophy or psychology and my "ideal" dream is to be a film director.

So, can you pick colleges that are appropriate for me?
Thanks a millon !

GPA : 4.0/4.0
SAT score : around 2100 for the first time and I will take once again in October(expecting 2200+).
I don't like extremely hot regions like Texas.

Looks like most top LACs have economics or political science as their most popular majors. Wellesley has psychology as one of their most popular majors though, and I suggest that you apply to the claremont colleges

Pinkstones, check out the international students forum. There you'll find lists with schools are better/worse with financial aid. Many schools would like you as a student. But most will not offer you substantial aid.

Wellesley is an all-girls school and the OP is a male, so that's out the window.

You are academically qualified for all of the top liberal arts schools, so that won't be a limitation.

You have to determine whether you'd prefer an extremely intellectual school (like Swarthmore), a more artsy, offbeat school (like Vassar or Wesleyan), an outdoorsy school (like Williams or Middlebury) or an all-around top school without a clear distinction (like Amherst or Pomona). All of the top schools will have great programs in philosophy and psychology so pick the one that appeals to you best.

Bard has a top film program, small classes, and gives tons of aid to internationals. You'll also see a quarter of the schools sitting around listening to Floyd.

Wesleyan would be a good fit too, based on your academics.
