Hi - so I graduated college in 2013 with a degree in neuroscience. I went to a good private school but my GPA wasn't the greatest because of various reasons and not it's hurting my chances of getting into graduate school or getting the job I want. That's why I thought I'd go back to school and take undergraduate classes to boost my GPA. There are a few problems tho - I'm interested in pursuing a career in (mechanical) engineering and took engineering science classes in college but most extension schools I look into offer mainly liberal arts or pure science classes. Speaking of extension schools - in addition to Harvard, which doesn't offer classes I'm interested in - most schools require there was a significant gap after you left school until you enroll into their program. A lot are intended for people who never got their degrees which is not the case for me. Additionally I am looking for a program from a respected and well known school so it doesn't just look like I went back to the first and easiest school I could find just to improve my GPA. Some of the schools I'm aware of are Columbia's school of general studies, Harvard extension, which don't offer the classes I interested in, programs at Yale brown and penn but all of them are intended for working individuals I believe. I don't care what part of the country it is in or if it's in Canada or whatever I just want to be able to take and participate I'm undergraduate or graduate classes in my desired field to improve my GPA. Can you guys recommend me any programs you're familiar with? Thanks!
