Run the net price calculators on the various universities to see what their financial aid will be like for you. Saying that your family is “middle class” says very little about your financial aid situation, since it seems that almost everyone says that (even people in the top 2-3% income bracket that would not get any financial aid from any college).

Is 1510 the two part (CR+M) or three part (CR+M+W) SAT score? Have you signed up for the ACT as well?

Lots of CSUs should be admission safeties; the non-impacted campuses (CSUB, CSUCI, CSUDH, CSUEB, CSUMB, and CSUSTAN) are essentially guaranteed admission at your stats if you meet all other requirements (e.g. a-g courses), and if your major is not nursing (or business at CSUEB). See [Impaction | Student Academic Support | CSU](http://www.calstate.edu/sas/impactioninfo.shtml) . Financial aid may be a different story; run the net price calculator: <a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU;
