Looking for some direction

I am a Junior and I was just wondering based on my stats where I should be looking

I had a 4.0 unweighted before this year but I will be getting a B in AP Calculus

AP's: Bio-5 World history-5
currently in: AP chem, AP calc and AP english
next year: APUSH, AP Gov, AP stat, AP english, AP environmental (AP spanish possibly)

EC's: color guard 1 year, lax probably varsity junior and senior, interact club, science national honors society, cofounder and vice president of JSA chapter, job 2 yrs, overseas summer volunteer program in thailand and peru (10th and 11th) found and paid for myself, indoor lax league, winter track...i think thats it

Possibly International Relations major

I feel like I am missing info let me know and I will add

Oh and I live in Delaware but DO NOT want to go to school here!

Oh and 730 Bio E SAT II

GW, Georgetown, American (safety) DC is an amazing place to be in for PoliSci, IR majors

Tufts has a really good international relations program. Plus, its 5 miles from Boston, so it makes it a nice convenient way to see the city.

thank you for the suggestions, DC and Boston are both great cities!
I also forgot to mention my SAT scores
I took them in December without studying so i will be taking them again with preparation in either March or June as of now I have 700 CR 640 Math and 710 Writing

Looking at your SAT scores, there is a bit of room for improvement. I’d say try to retake them and try to improve on the math section the most. If you look at Tufts’ profile of the class of 2013 [Profile of the Class of 2013 - Office of Undergraduate Admissions - Tufts University](<a href=“Tufts University”>Tufts University) , then you can see the range they are looking for. You are quite in the to the mid-50% Range for CR and Writing, however just be sure to improve on the math section as i said if you decide to retake it. Best of luck!

I’d definitely look at DC and Boston, too (I’m from the DC area, and it’s great).
American, BU, BC, Tufts, Emory
Also maybe look at Elon?

Keep up the good work!

Math is definitely my problem area, I am going to take an SAT math course so hopefully that will help. Do you think it is worth improving my writing score? I did really well on the multiple choice but my essay was an 8 so it brought me down, but I know schools mainly focus on Math and CR.

I would personally just try to improve the CR and wirting, just to try to get the best possible score you can get. If you improve around fifty points on the CR and writing that would look really good!

I feel pretty confident that I can get up to a 700 Math with a little work and a 750 writing if I improve my essay. I’m not sure about CR however because although I get all of the vocab correct it is the passage based part that gets me and I’m not sure how to improve that.

Honestly for the CR, purchase this [Kaplan SAT Critical Reading Workbook, Kaplan, Book - Barnes & Noble](<a href=“Online Bookstore: Books, NOOK ebooks, Music, Movies & Toys | Barnes & Noble®”>Online Bookstore: Books, NOOK ebooks, Music, Movies & Toys | Barnes & Noble®) and it should help you step by step to improve ur schore

^ I think I’ll do that. Btw I had never heard of Emory before bluesharpie mentioned it so I checked it out and it looks really interesting so thanks again!

Washington DC.
