Sex:Male
Location: Virginia
GPA: 4.05 weighted. 3.85 unweighted
(My school only weights APs)</p>

<p>I've taken all of the possible honors and all AP core courses at my school so far. (World History, US History, Calculus, English)
Next Year APs: German, Euro, Govt., Stats, and English.</p>

<p>SAT: 1350 old, 2000 new. Ive only taken it once, will take again in December.</p>

<p>SAT II: Will take US History and Math I in October.</p>

<p>AP Scores: 4 in World History, US History, and English. I am not submitting my Calc score lol.(dont ask).</p>

<p>Misc: Essay about adjusting to my parents recent divorce . Um my AP US History teacher loved me and was a grad from Georgetown so good rec letter.</p>

<p>Question: Should I apply Early Decision to Georgetown or Tufts (havent decided) or should I apply after I retake my SATs?</p>

<p>Given your current SATs, Georgetown, Tufts, Wash&Lee, and Swarthmore are all reaches for you whether you apply ED or RD. UVa is probably a match because you're in state. Northeastern is a safety. You're going to need in the neighborhood of a 2150 on your SATs to be a competetive candidate at Georgetown, Tufts, Wash&Lee, and Swarthmore. </p>

<p>You should look at schools that are somewhat less selective and have a scholar/athlete kind of environment. You might want to take a look at the following schools:</p>

<p>Colgate
Wake Forest
Boston College
Bucknell
Lafeyette</p>

<p>Also, you might want to look at Syracuse, Penn State (Main campus), or U of Maryland (Main campus) as safeties.</p>
