<p>I think this one is a bit special when you consider the possibility of taking some of the classes at Amherst College. Makes sense for people who can afford the cost of private college.</p>

<p>In my previous post I meant “… for people who can not afford the cost of private college”.</p>

<p>Umass students can take claases at Amherst and Smith for free–yes. I am a prof at Umass.</p>

<p>UMass is less expensive than my uni. I wish I knew this when I was applying.</p>
