Looking for Suggestions for Safety Schools

Hello, I'm a senior at an academically strong public high school and I trying to find a good safety school or two.

To give some context, I have a 4.2 weighted GPA, 35 ACT and have taken 5-6 APs with a few more planned for senior year. I also am a varsity soccer captain, am an editor for the school newsmagazine, and am in leadership positions in a few clubs. I may play collegiate soccer if I am able to play at an academically competitive school.

Some of my top choice schools are Washington University in St. Louis, Duke University, Princeton University, Richmond University, etc (in no particular order).

I'm looking for safety schools that have good honors programs and/or are very strong in Economics or Political Science (two of my areas of academic interest).

Thanks!

Take a look at your state’s flagship school(s). You would do well in those.

If you can afford it, your in-state public flagship. Otherwise look at the pinned threads in the Financial Aid forum for assured merit aid.
