Looking for the most appropriate fit

Hello everybody, i am a rising senior and i truly am lost on where i want to go. I live in Maryland and UMD college park is a fantastic option especially for how cheap it is (and i want to do business/engineering and UMD is a great option for both of those things). All in all, could you maybe list some schools that would fit based on my gpa, sat and preferences and why you think so? I really appreciate all feedback

My preferences
- Warm weather
- Good engineering/ business
- Medium/Large school

GPA: Weighted: 4.15
Unweighted: 3.47
You can see the difficulty in my classes based on the big difference in GPA

SAT: (This is my 1 setting score, not a superscore)
Math: 770
Reading: 700
Writing: 680
Total: 2150

EC:
- Tutored middle school students once a week (2 hour period) for all of junior year
-Handball team (only county in the nation that began a handball league for kids mainly to attract special needs. I was on the team to help out and will be playing next year as well. My junior year was the first year it was established)
-Turkish American association. Member for 4 years and helped with fundraisers, other large events with the turkish community
- Over 265 Student Service learning hours
-Cycling club for 4 years and i am the treasurer for my senior year
- Consumption Junction: Cooking food for the homeless with friends in large portions (4 years participation, no leadership position)

Background:
- Born in Turkey
-Moved to America when i was 3
-Speak Turkish and English fluently and studied Spanish in school but i am not fluent
- Mom finished a community college
-Dad never graduated from college

Some extra info: I love UCLA and it really is my dream school but i know that my GPA is on the lower end but hopefully my SAT makes up for it

Schools i am seriously looking into:
U Washington in Seattle
Maryland College Park
UCLA
Georgetown (have no hopes of getting in, just applying for my mom)
GW
UT Austin
UCSD
Boston U

Once again thank you for reading this entire thing and thank you very much for taking the time to do so. I greatly appreciate this and your opinion is extremely valuable to me. Have a good day

For an OOS student I don’t think the over $50K/year at a UC is worth it. You can get the same large classes and lack of personal attention for much less in-state. Keep in mind, too, that there is no financial aid available for the OOS tuition no matter your family income.

And its never too early to have a talk with your parents about what they can afford. Before you go any farther have them run an EFC estimator and make sure they are comfortable with the number that comes out.

You’ve picked some really expensive universities: BU, GWU (may be better with aid than BU but that’s not saying much), two UC schools, and Georgetown (darn stingy); and you’ve picked a school, UT, in which you must be in the top 7% of your class to be admitted and pay nearly as much as you’d pay for a UC. I like UMD to stop the bleeding, but you may need to consider costs a bit more closely, as well as likelihood of admission at several of these schools. Get a couple more affordable matches on here. Pitt is around 41K, and they might take you. Disclosure: D at Pitt and S at UMD.
