Looking into East Coast Colleges (below average for CC)

Can you provide me with some good colleges on the east coast or that general area? My stats are here and I'm open to just about everything, just browsing right now. I'm not looking for a Science/Math school but anything else is open. Just be reasonable please. Thanks :)

Male Caucasian, Minnesota
Rank: Top Quarter (has not released recent stats)
GPA: 3.6, (hopefully at least a 3.7-3.8 next year) (If weighted, at least a 3.8, (only 1 AP now))
SAT: Not yet, but scheduled to soon (not typical to take for my school), projected after practice test at school=1900 (hopefully bring up),
SAT II Am History: 760
ACT: 28
AP US HISTORY: 5

-High School, Top 5 Public High School in state (ranked 3 or 4 I think), ranked nationally. Sends some to top schools (most in state to Ivy League)
-AP's: AP US History: 4; Projected 5 More AP's (Lit, Lang&Comp, Pych, Macro, Calc); (Taking all Offered)
-Course Load; All Accelerated, Honors, or AP's, except for required classes; Independent Study for Gym and Health
-National Spanish Exam Participant (4 Years), Ranked, Certificate

ECs:
-Band (Trombone), All 4 years (Letter 3 Times), section leader, Jazz Band (Letter), Pep Band (Letter); Leader, Band Council Member (leadership within Band)
-Boy Scouts; Soon to be Eagle Scout (Project Now); Grey Wolf (Elite Leadership Program) Participant (2007), Grey Wolf Staff Member (2008), Senior Patrol Leader (Top Leader), High Adventure Coordinator (Boy Leader for Planning; I planned our trip to Europe, entirely boy-led), Counselor in Training at Kiwanis Cub Camp; non-paid (2008), Kiwanis Staff Member (EC & Job, but am paid <1$ a hour), National Jamboree Member (2010), Over 150+ Service Hours in General

-Crew (Varsity Letter); All 4 years on Technical Crew for Theater (Fall Play and Spring Musical; Intense everyday after school until 6pm); Set Construction, light and technical work; Operate theater lighting for groups inside the auditorium
-Alpine Ski; JV Member; Varsity Member; All 4 years. Wild Mountain D-Team Ski Racing, (2007-2008)

Highly Involved in All; Typically I do not get home until 6pm in the Fall and Spring because of Drama, and not until 9pm in the winter everyday because of Ski Racing

Work Experience: Program Specialist, Kiwanis Scout Camp (Little Pay,less than a dollar a hour, but the work is personally rewarding, and worked over 400+ hours over the summer.

Since I still have a little time left, and I am pretty "below-Average" here for CC, but maybe you guys could offer some advice; Am I aiming too high or too low? Any advice on where I should go?

Here are some schools I already thought of:

George Wash U

American U

Boston U

Georgetown (Legacy)

John Hopkins

More ideas of good schools that I could reasonable get into?

P. S. And yes I do use many semi-colons

Two “reasonable” ideas for you . . .
Have you considered University of MD?
I also encourage you to look into University of Delaware (check-out what the Princeton Review has to say about U of DE). U of DE is close to Baltimore and would be easy to visit along with Johns H.

I wouldn’t call you “below average” for CC at all. Maybe you’re not as cutthroat as some of the guys on here… but you still have a lot of potential! Don’t bring yourself down.

By the way, would you be interested in attending an LAC? There are certainly plenty of them you could get into on the East Coast, if you perhaps want to look at them…

American could probably be a safety for you and GW a match. What do you want to major in?

BU is a saftey for you, you should try more difficult schools.

Why pay OOS tuition at UMD or UD when you are a low match for Wisconsin which is east of Minny and you pay instate tuition?
