<p>After realizing that UM is in the top 50, I want to look a bit more into this university. I'm a community college freshman looking to find a good university for me. I have been a Florida sports fan (Fan of UF FSU and UM) and I would find the prospect of being a hurricane as good.
I wish to be a math major and I am wondering if UM is a good choice for math, and if UM meets a good amount of need for transfer students. If it is, who do I contact to set up a transfer plan for UM (picking classes that transfer).</p>
<p>yes UM is very easy with transfers. easy to get in, easy to transfer credits and easy for CC kids and they have a big transfer orientation.</p>

<p>Whats the situation for UM meeting need-based aid though? I don’t think my family could afford the sticker price.</p>
