looking to be chanced, for lots of schools. trying to narrow down my choices.

i'm going to be a senior this fall and want to know which of the schools i'm considering applying to i have a solid chance at getting into.

south asian female
SAT: 1220/1600, 1900/2400
ACT: 28
AP scores: for apush 3, for english lit 3
GPA: 3.47 unweighted, and my school doesn't weight our GPA's but i know it's somewhere between 3.8-4.0

for senior year i'm taking AP statistics and AP psychology, and i'm hoping to study psych in college as well all the way to a pH.D

community service: 501 hours, many from volunteering at shelters and churches, day camps, and unpaid internships at the department of environmental protection in massachusetts (where i am)

extra curriculars:
-piano for 11 years
-private singing lessons for 11 years
-outreach club (we do community service) at school since freshman year
-swim team freshman year
-i've had a job since sophomore year at a bakery
-second summer job for this year is at a day camp on a farm
-founder of the bangladesh environment network youth chapter in massachusetts, so far from charity events we've held we've raised about 5 grand
-9 years of language school for bangla and arabic (and i can speak 5 languages, those two, english obviously, and spanish surprisingly fluently)
-national honor society junior and senior year

letters of rec are coming from junior year english and chem, both of which i know will be very strong and positive

essay is coming along really well, and i'm not too worried about it because i'm recieving assistance from my english teacher from last year

schools i'm looking at:
brown
cornell
rutgers
uconn
boston university
st. lawrence
ithaca
nyu
george washington university
providence college
university of new hampshire

safeties are umass amherst, roger williams, u of dayton

please chance me on as many colleges as you can, i'll chance back and REALLY appreciate it. thanks so much.

I really don’t think you have much of a chance at Ivies with that SAT/GPA. NYU and BU I would classify as reaches/low reaches; I’m not very familiar with the rest of these schools, sorry.

btw i will be retaking SAT’s and ACT this fall
and i forgot to post SAT II’s, for english lit 650, for math 1 670. i don’t know if i’ll have a chance to retake those though, since i’m taking the october SAT I

bump bump bump

You have no chance at Brown and Cornell, but most of the schools on that list look good if you get your SAT up higher.

bump againn
