Looking to improve my 2140 SAT score

Hi guys :)

I took the SAT for the second time in January (730 CR, 740 M, and 670 W), and my goal is to get at least 2250 (But I would love to get at least a 2300!)

Here are my questions:
1. Does anyone have an essay format that has worked for them? I'm currently getting 8s in my essays, so any advice would help :)
2. I need to get some more books to help me. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which books have the hardest practice tests?
3. Any advice in general?

Thanks so much, guys!

The graders aren’t looking for too much in an essay. A few good points substantiated well should do the job well enough. There isn’t a format as such.

The Blue Book, The Princeton Review, Official SAT Online Course.

Try and simulate real test-like conditions as much as you can. Take full length tests, timed.
