I'm looking to transfer into a Liberal Arts school or a public university for the upcoming Spring semester. I have about a 3.7 GPA (at the University of Maryland) and currently have 70 credits (I'll have upwards of around 85 at the end of this semester). What schools would I be able to apply that would let me transfer all of my credits? I'm mostly interested in top notch schools with good econ programs.

here i found a list of the top economic programs. its a shame because maryland is a top ranked econ programs.

personally i would go for chicago. however, i doubt than many schools will accept your large amount of credits :( youll be reluctant to see schools accept up to 60. some colleges however will accept more credits usually from 65-75 depending on an accumulation of credits from CCC's and 4 YR universities. some accept more credits from 4 yr univerities. you should contact the schools your intrested and check there policies. although, i am certain that not all your credits will transfer, but you should stive for schools on the top of the list that will accept most of yourcredits. it would be very unfortunate for a school to accept up to 60. thats two semesters(1 yr)worth of credits
