<p>I am currently a freshman Public Relations major at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY and I can already tell this is not the school for me.</p>
<p>Looking around at other schools with PR majors, I noticed Boston University and New York University. I originally looked at these schools when I was in high school, but I did not have the grades to get in. My high school GPA was 2.6, not great.</p>
<p>My basic question is: Provided I maintain A's at Hofstra (not a long-shot, trust me), do I have any chance of getting into these schools as a transfer for next year (2011)?</p>
<p>If any of you have gone through the transfer process and can offer me some advice on how to get in to a better school, I would really appreciate your help.</p>
