Looking to transfer to SFSU/CSUEB for Spring 2013.

I am looking to transfer into one of the schools stated in the title for Spring 2013 but the only problem is that they don't offer my major which is Health Sciences during the Spring 2013 quarter/semester. Is it a good/clever idea for me to transfer in as one of the open majors even though I have absolutely no good intentions for it and then change my major to Health Sciences as soon as I get the opportunity to?

What kind of options do I have? Is it possible? And is it hectic?

Any input would help guys!

Thank you. :)

If the major is impacted, then you will have to apply to change major (or you may have to apply in all cases anyway).

Spring admission is likely more competitive than fall admission, due to the fewer number of spaces available. Also, some majors may not be set up for entering transfers in the spring (e.g. they may offer course sequences starting only in the fall). Check each campus to be sure.
