Looking to transfer...

Hi, I currently attend Baruch College. I want to major in something business related.

My freshman GPA was 3.8. I recently got admitted to Baruch Honors, and I am hoping to reach a 4.0 this semester.

My SATs in HS were... 650 math 480 reading. I didn't bother studying for it... Which kinda bite me in the ass.

Do you guys recommend I apply for a transfer to another business school for my undergrad? If so, where? (Cost is not an issue)

can someone help?

bump......

Well, why would any of us recommend you transfer? Why do you want to transfer? Why not stay where you are?

what kind of colleges do you look for?

more specific

Oh sorry.

I want to transfer to a more prestigious undergraduate business school. And hopefully one that would get me better job interviews, and would make getting into a top MBA easier.

location? cost factors? etc etc..

I live in NYC and there is no cost factor. I'll pay whatever as long as the school is better.

Columbia
Cornell
Upenn

Realistically, I think those SAT scores will hold you back from such schools, even as a transfer. Are you considering re-taking? (apologies if any of them are SAT-optional for transfer, but I don't believe they are).

What are the opportunities for getting a great job out of Baruch if you are the star in that small pond? I think that might be a better strategy than transferring. If you can get a great placement for a couple of years right out of Baruch, I think that might be your better entree into a top MBA program.

Nyu..........
