I was trying to make a tentative schedule for next year to take to Bama Bound, but became confused when trying to pick a Chem course. It said it went TR (Thursday I assumed) 12:30-1:45 and the R 6:30-7:50. What does the R mean?

R is Thursday. T is Tuesday.

I know…a bit odd…but it was a way to distinguish from Tuesday by only using one letter.

So, if you see TR…that is a class that meets on Tues AND Thurs…both days!

It said it went TR (Thursday I assumed) 12:30-1:45 and the R 6:30-7:50.

To further clarity…you go to class on Tues AND Thurs from 12:30-1:45…and you also go on Thurs night from 6:30 - 7:50 (by the way, don’t know if that night time will get used…some profs don’t use it, some do).

A class that is listed as “TR” is a class that meets on Tuesday and Thursday. (The T represents Tuesday in the UA class schedule and the R represents Thursday.) Based on the information in your post, the class will meet Tuesday and Thursday (TR) from 12:30 - 1:45 and on Thursday (R) from 6:30 - 7:30

Thank you so much! I was a bit confused. This definitely helps clarify!

One more thing, what does “FLC only” mean?

Freshman Learning Community.

Those are classes for those who sign up for a particular FLC.
