<p>And pretty soon the school will gobble up Lynchburg...........</p>
<p>That's what a few of the local complain about. OTOH LU is now the largest employer in town and there has been no decline in home values there yet--even with the entire home mortgage crunch. Lynchburg is one of the fastest growing towns in Virginia now. There is stuff under construction all over the area from academic buildings to homes and shopping centers. Pretty amazing for a sleepy little southern town really. Glad I bought in when I did.</p>
