Pretty interesting, what do you guys think?

Good lord, not this bull***** again....

I'm not endorsing or opposing this documentary. I just want hear what people think. Comment on it after you watch it.

I BELIEVE IT...the government was behind the 9/11 attacks....people need to know

I got extremely upset after watching it...
The people who made that film should go straight to Hell.

The documentary provides some compelling evidence that 9/11 could have been a giant conspiracy. It a scary thought that we all might have all been lied to.

There are enough REAL events happening right now in our country that should cause plenty of alarm and concern. We don't need far-fetched 9/11 conspiracy theories to be alarmed. (didn't watch the video, as this has all been around a long time)

If you follow what's going on in Washington now- not 5 years ago- you will probably come to this conclusion anyway regarding events having nothing to do with this film.

A.S.A.P. is correct. To add, sites and videos like this have been put up since the day after 9/11. Considering there are no renowned technical experts who have actually advocated these conspiracies (especially those that actually involved themselves with the analysis of the aftermath), there is no reason to believe it.

It is not public knowledge because the mainstream media is not covering this...people do not want to acknowledge this....the truth will be told whether we are young adults or old men....just like how we debate the JFK assassinations

You have not given any reasons why, nor proofs to ascertain how, this happened.

A lot of what they say is circumstantial. That's great, it doesn't make it more to be anymore than every other conspiracy theory.

Circumstantial?? The cell phone call experiments showed that they were impossible to make at those heights...not to mention the actual conversations were damn shady as well. And didn't you find anything interesting about the Pentagon? The lawn was untouched, and it did not look like a plane hit it. If a plane did hit the Pentagon, how come the cars that were on the highway didn't completely fly off the road? Also, jet fuel could not have taken down the buildings. Watch the video, my it is convincing (even the tallest building in Brazil, which burned for more than 2 weeks, didn't even collapse). My point, the documentary has excellent evidence--more of which i dont even get to in my blurb here--- but also go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9/11_domestic_conspiracy_theory to educate yourselt on this

The documentary is bull*****, and so is anyone that believes it.

The following sites debunk all 9/11 myths perfectly-

http://ourworld-top.cs.com/mikegriffith1/refute.htm

Popular Mechanics also debunked most of the conspiracies in one of their recent magazines. It is online, I would suggest searching the Popular Mechanics website for it.

Bottom line is, the conspiracy theories are crap.

I'm off for a snowboard trip for the weekend. If anyone wishes to debate me, don't take my lack of response as a concession. I will respond when I get back Sunday evening.

I don't really feel like regurgitating countless arguments against these far-fetched conspiracies since they've been going on for...I don't know, 4 years? But I'll give you a quick run down:

Lead investigator Dr. Shyam Sunder said Tower 2 collapsed more quickly than Tower 1 because the fire was more concentrated, weakening sections of interior and exterior support columns more quickly.

Tower 1 was struck first and stood for 103 minutes, almost twice as long as Tower 2, which remained standing for only 56 minutes.

"In Tower 2, you had a large concentration of combustible debris in the northeast corner, and the fire there was a more persistent fire," said Sunder.

The flames stayed strong in part because the impact of the plane stripped away much of the fireproofing along the floors, investigators said.

In reference to the Pentagon...the titanium melting point isn't really all that relevant and neither is the lack of dmg or burn marks on the fuselage casing. That's pretty common in plane crashes really where certain areas look to be in normal condition on the ground and others are completely decimated...

Suspect evidence, as in testimony of random non-technical personnel doesn't really strengthen his argument.

According to Professors at MIT, who actually went to the sites for investigation (which I sort of alluded to in a previous post), their main point was that the IMPACT of the plane exposed the inner structural steel by blasting off the spray-on insulator...the only one where that might have applied in the examples was the B52 hitting the top of some building. Again, their claims of the buildings collapsing is pretty suspect.

2000 degrees F for an hour would weaken steel to perhaps 35-40% of its yield strength based on my familiarity with similar materials I use in 1600F environments. Buckling is a very real possibility and is a nonlinear effect so yes 4-5X safety factors will erode rapidly with such a large decline in mechanical strength...

If floor X is weakened to the point of collapse, you can bet that floor X - 1 is about to collapse as well

Soon you have 10 floors, plus the entire top of the tower, landing on the 11th floor, and I don't think there needs to be any fire weakening to make those fall.

This is the point: If floors 51-120 are collapsing on it, you think it's going to hold? Yes? No?

FINALLY, you've yet to give me a good reason WHY the government would do so, and WHY no "leaks" were given. It's like the moon hoax conspiracy, if such a lie was given on such a monolithic level, you cannot convince me that an administration that could not even leak minor information about a CIA operative or plant WMD's in Iraq could pull this off.

Jesus Christ, making this kind of post once more actually kind of irritated me.

Osama bin Ladin initially denied his participation in the attacks--read on from Wikipedia:
Immediately after the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States, the United States government named bin Laden as the prime suspect. However, in an interview published in Ummat Karachi, on 28 September 2001, but largely ignored by Western media, bin Laden stated:

"I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle.... The United States should try to trace the perpetrators of these attacks within itself.... intelligence agencies in the U.S., which require billions of dollars worth of funds from the Congress and the government every year. This [funding issue] was not a big problem till the existence of the former Soviet Union but after that the budget of these agencies has been in danger. They needed an enemy. So, they first started propaganda against Usama and Taleban and then this incident happened. You see, the Bush Administration approved a budget of 40 billion dollars. Where will this huge amount go? It will be provided to the same agencies, which need huge funds and want to exert their importance. Now they will spend the money for their expansion and for increasing their importance. I will give you an example. Drug smugglers from all over the world are in contact with the U.S. secret agencies. These agencies do not want to eradicate narcotics cultivation and trafficking because their importance will be diminished. The people in the U.S. Drug Enforcement Department are encouraging drug trade so that they could show performance and get millions of dollars worth of budget. General Noriega was made a drug baron by the CIA and, in need, he was made a scapegoat."

In December 2001 U.S. forces in Afghanistan captured a videotape during a raid on a house in Jalalabad, which allegedly shows bin Laden discussing the September 11th attacks with a group of followers. However, the quality of the tape is poor, and bin Laden is seen writing with his right hand, although according to the FBI he is left handed. Furthermore, he is shown wearing a gold ring, which some claim is forbidden for men by orthodox Islam. This idea has been disputed by numerous videos and photos of Bin Laden wearing the same ring on many different occasions. [15] In some low resolution pictures of the video, bin Laden appears smiling with a more round face and a nose which is different to the one seen in previous images of him. However, this is also disputed by higher resolution photos of the same video which show a man who does resemble bin Laden [16]. Still, because of the anomalies surrounding this video, the authenticity of the tape remains highly disputed. According to the official U.S. translation of this tape bin Laden says:

"We calculated in advance the number of casualties from the enemy, who would be killed based on the position of the tower. We calculated that the floors that would be hit would be three or four floors. I was the most optimistic of them all. (...Inaudible...) Due to my experience in this field, I was thinking that the fire from the gas in the plane would melt the iron structure of the building and collapse the area where the plane hit and all the floors above it only. This is all that we had hoped for". (full text of the tape transcript)

Several other videotapes have surfaced in the media (11.11.01 Sunday Times / Al-Jazeera 26.12.02 / 04.02 Al-Jazeera/AP / Sunday Times 19.05.02 / 09.02 Al-Jazeera etc). In subsequent statements and interviews he expressed admiration for whoever was responsible. He took credit for "inspiring" what he calls the "blessed attacks" of September 11 in several public statements. However, the video found in Jalalabad in December 2001 is still the most often cited as evidence for bin Laden's participation in the September 11 attacks.

That seriously touches upon none of what I said. When you stop copy-pasting and actually begin to formulate your own arguments, then that is when your posts are deemed worthy.

Thanks for telling me I just wasted my time...

it wasn't a reply to your post....just some facts about bin laden

Then why leave out this tidbit of that very article?

However, as is the case with almost all tapes of bin Laden following September 11, the authenticity of this tape is also disputed widely.

shenobi...
If you feel this way, then get out my country... You have absolutely no right to live here if you think that my country would do something like that to its citizens. This country is a country full of promise and liberty. I wonder why your ancestors came to America in the first place... To live the American dream!!! If you want to go about defaming this country, then get out. You are extremely lucky that you live in this country. If you went to a public school or currently do, then get out of it, because I don't want to waste my money paying for educating people like you.
You are a complete disgrace to the thousands who died on September 11th as well as to all those soldiers who have lost their lives to make this world a better place. How about you go up to a relative of a September 11th victim and tell them that their own government killed them. How would you feel? Not too good, right?

No hopkinslax, your blind patriotism is not warranted here either. If you would like to feel the advocate the liberty of America, then you should also recognize that he's free to bring up his disagreements.

It is not like if such an act were to have been committed, that it would be unprecedented. Reichstag Fire?

It is the aim of a free society to be able to educate and inform, criticize and deduct the whole situation instead of siding with either extreme as a reflex.

Although in light of my rebuttal, I do hope (for the sake of my sanity) he saw the flaws in his conspiracy theory...
