Lopsided SAT Scores

Do colleges view lopsided SAT scores as inferior to those that are more equally distributed? I made a 2120 {800 CR, 640 M, 680 W}. Will my math score hurt me significantly? Who else here has lopsided scores?

It will hurt you less if your intended major is not math related at all, though I’m confused as to why your CR and W scores aren’t closer.

Yeah, I had a less extreme lopsided SAT score (740CR, 690M, 730W), then retook to raise my math. The new score was better, though a little more lopsided (800CR, 720M, 760W).

I would advise you to retake to raise your M and W scores if possible, though it’s not necessary, depending on your target schools.

I only missed three multiple-choice questions, but I made an 8 on the essay; I have some trouble physically writing (legibly)–though it’s because of terrible handwriting, not a diagnosed disability.

I’m a senior, so it’s too late to take the SAT again. UNC-CH (Instate, Direct Descendant of Prominent University Historical Figure) and Oxford College of Emory University are the closest things to my target school. My reaches are: UChicago, Northwestern (School of Education and Social Policy), Vanderbilt (Peabody College of Education and Human Development), Emory (Atlanta Campus), and Duke (Instate, Legacy).
