<p>I have research experience in a completely different field than the programs I am applying to. I decided to get involved with that research just from extracurricular interest. </p>
<p>Should I submit a LOR from someone in a completely different field than the one I plan on applying to? He knows me much better than professors I took major related classes with.</p>
