LOR from, a doctor?

So, I want to transfer to UCLA or Berkeley from a community college in Southern California and the time for applications grows near. Regarding letters of recommendation, rather then just a counselor or professor, I was wondering if a letter from a doctor would having any meaning? I am pre-med so I'm going to shadow a doctor I met pretty soon. Would it be retarded to have him write it? Or a plethora of brilliance and innovation upon my behalf?

The UC’s don’t require LOR (nor do they want them).

Oh, well now that is embarrassing. I was looking at Stanford, and I suppose that’s why I just assumed UC’s did as well. So it’s just the Ivies and privates that require them?

"I want to transfer to UCLA or Berkeley "

Transfer Students > UC Transfers.

flower… what does that even mean?

riley… schools that require LoRs require LoRs. UC is not one of those schools.
