LOR question

First of all, are students allowed to read LORs?

Well, I asked a professor to write me a letter of recommendation for the school that I hope to be transferring to, however, after I received the letter I was really stumped. Don't get me wrong, the letter was very nice and I am very thankful he wrote me a recommendation, however, near the end of the letter he flat out mixed up my name and put someone else's name on the recommendation. After I noticed this, I told him and after a few days later he gave me the same exact letter with the same exact name mix-up (didn't check until I got home because I was in a rush to get to my final, my mistake). So, I guess I'm going to have to point that out to him again, but since I won't see him because finals are over, will transfer admissions accept emailed letters of recommendation?

I'll call the admissions and ask them about the emailing, but still wondering if teachers dont mind students reading recommendations.

Typically LORs are not supposed to be seen by the student, but I guess that it's a good thing that you caught those mistakes. You might be able to scan it into a computer as a .pdf file and e-mail it to someone, then mail the original right afterward. Call admissions though - that's your best bet.
