<p>Am i the only one who is losing hope about getting accepted. Everyone around me is getting letters, and im hearing nothing. Is there no hope left now for an international student?</p>
<p>there still is hope, on the official NYU forums, they say that they aren’t completely done with the admissions process, and are still sending out letters and invites.</p>
<p>although, I’m loosing hope too… don’t feel alone.</p>

<p>I was like the last one to hear that I got in ED. I heard about a week after people started hearing.</p>

<p>I originally posted this in a Tisch forum, but felt it was relevant here, too:</p>
<p>A cautionary message. My son applied ED to Tisch (Film and Television). About a week before the notification date, admissions decisions began trickling out starting with emails to international students and then letters to US applicants. The forums on CC churned information out and there was a lot of angst from students who hadn’t heard and much speculation as to the cause. It caused a lot of hand wringing and stress in my family. By the time my son received his letter, on December 15, his (and my) anxiety levels were high. He got in- on the actual notification date. Don’t sweat it yet- although some have heard, NYU has made it clear that admissions decisions will continue to flow out until the actual notification date!</p>
<p>My daughter was one of the last to hear from NYU last March. It ain’t over til the fat lady sings. keep hope alive.</p>
<p>I don’t even have any hope to lose because I didn’t have any hope to begin with, lol.
It’s a reach for me…I will seriously die if I get in.</p>

<p>I have a friend at my school who got into Stern the other day.</p>
<p>I’m still waiting to hear from Tisch’s Dramatic Writing program…</p>

<p>Today was the first time since I heard that NYU was sending out invitations that I have felt a lack of hope. 
Maybe one will come on my birthday this saturday. That would be the most amazing feeling ever.</p>
<p>2 of my friends got into Stern yesterday… I’m an international student, so I should hear from Stern aroud the same time as my friends, right? I guess I may be rejected. BUT let’s just hope for the best and prepare for the worst, K? Cheer up & GD to all.</p>
<p>I am applying to the Tisch drama program and I have yet to hear from them. I already know one student who was accepted into their musical theater program. Im getting more nervous every day!</p>
<p>I was just about to start this thread…i’m an international student as well from the UK and I’m scared about the outcome but i still have a bit of faith. Are chances for international students low or high?</p>
<p>i got into continuing and professional studies this week (sport management). i think when u hear back depends on your school b/c of different admitted days for incoming freshmen</p>
<p>I’m applying to Tisch film and I’m currently attending an international school, although my home/mailing address is in the U.S. and my parents (residing in the U.S.) received mail from NYU like “Parents News” and whatnot… plenty of students at my school already received their acceptances via email (Stern, Steinhardt, and CAS), and i haven’t received anything from Tisch (the case is the same for the one other person who applied to Tisch at my school as well…) i’m nervous because i feel like my portfolio was good enough and my application was overall pretty strong, albeit a kind of mediocre SAT score… like, i feel like i should get in, but the fact that i haven’t heard anything is dragging me down… yeah, i’m losing hope too haha</p>
<p>I really don’t have much hope at this point, and NYU was a reach to begin with… My other rejections aren’t helping the confidence level (GWU and Sarah Lawrence). I got into DePaul, as well as Ohio University, but I’m waiting on NYU and BU. We’ll see what happens.</p>
<p>does anybody know what the average SAT/ACT scores for Steinhardt were? lol Because I know that my scores were average and I just may not get in! =(
